With an egg under my foot I am able to achieve 11.5mpg in town and 16.5 on the hwy. Don't forget this uses PREMIUM FUEL. see full Lincoln Navigator review
Lincoln Navigator Real Gas Mileage: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 5.4L V8
6-speed automatic RWD
I typically average 15-16 MPG in mixed suburban, highway, urban driving, with a 2 hour round-trip stop and go commute. While this is not bad, it is not good either. Even so, I have read several forums where Navigator owners complain about getting 12-13 MPG in mixed driving. I think they must be really stomping on it. The newer Navigators run on 87 octane but mine requires 91 to run properly, which really means that I have to fill it with 93 since no one sells 91 where I live. see full Lincoln Navigator review

Superior to anything in its class for freeway MPG. Only turns over 1900 RPM @ 70 mph, 27+ MPG depending on conditions. Mixed fuel economy is not bad either, my wife drives 50/50 city/highway and we average just over 21 mpg. Very satisfied with MPG. see full Ford Freestyle review
