| Jun 2012US $1000 | did have to change the GEM module at about 130,000 miles. Truck was stuck in 4 wd low, power windows would not work, and OBD was o/c. Put in a used GEM from a ford explorer and all worked except i could not go over 5 miles and hour. Unplugged the speed sensor wire to the rear diff. , drove to the dealer and asked for a new GEM and reminded them to set the tire size in their computer program for my truck. Three trips later and over $1000.00 they finally got it done...next time i'll just leave the speed sensor unplugged. | ||
