2002 Acura MDX 4-door

6-cylinder automatic AWD

209300 mi

US $200
Transmission overheated. Shop reported fluid dip stick was "missing" when they inspected. Transmission was dry of oil. Fluid replaced and transmission recovered. Sight "catch" when shifting into 2nd gear. Suspect last oil service...
212000 mi Just before I had to get a smog check to register the truck the “check engine” light came on. When I had the code checked it was due to transmission failure. I took it to a smog test center and they wouldn’t test it with the check engine light on. So I had the light reset but it came back on after about 50 miles before I could get the smog check done.
