2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 2dr Coupe

242-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD

73000 mi I purchased a new maintenance free Duracell battery at Sam's Club in July of 2017. I do not drive this vehicle during the bad winter weather months (December to March) in Michigan and store it in the pole barn. I connect a battery charger/maintainer to the battery during storage period and all was well until two months later when I noticed that the battery was no longer taking a charge. I thought my battery charger/maintainer may have been defective, so I tried another one with the same results. The battery was dead and would not take a charge. It had a 3 year free replacement warranty, so I took it back to Sam's Club last month and got a replacement. All is well again so far.

When the drivers side temperature control is moved to hot or cold a loud clattering noise comes from behind the control panel on drivers side. It stops after a couple minutes and will start up again if temperature is changed. I think the actual part name is called "Heating and AC Panel Mode Door Actuator or Temperature Mode Valve Actuator Assembly".

I took the car in and was told that the radio for the remote unlocks had to be replaced. A new radio was put in and programmed to my vehicle.
