Water had accumulated from HVAC drain pain all the way back into the blower motor behind the glove box. The infamous grommet that normally causes backup had already been removed, so the cause is unclear. We agreed to drill into the lowest part of the pan and run a 16" 1/3" hose to the transmission tunnel, where another hole was drilled, and the line was sealed in. Works like a charm.
