Engine was throwing P0300 codes intermittently. During a triage drive, cyl 1 was the culprit. We changed all 8 plugs, and hoped. All was good until highway speeds when various cyl were reporting "hiccups" but not throwing misfire codes. Turns out, a radial belt on a faulty rear tire had slipped, causing a minor vibration at the right frequency to start triggering the individual cyl knock sensors. Tire replaced, car purrs.
