Also replaced lower control arm with new pre-assembled unit, and replaced sway bar links due to ruptured dust boots. Issue is not resolved yet. Transmission gets stuck in the 3rd gear (AT + Engine lights are on). Throws a couple of codes about solenoids. Mechanic flushed tranny fluid, reset the TCM. Drove it for 2 days fine, today both lights are lit again. Any serious work on the transmission would cost more than the value of the car at this point. |

As reported last month, the gear was getting “stuck” in 3rd. I decided to try and get it fixed after watching some videos and doing some (well, a lot) of research. Went to local Mr. Transmission and they replaced “solenoid F” and the issue seems to be resolved. |
