Gas gauge would get stuck on empty and had trouble filling tank all the way (pump would occasionally shut off though not full). Had shop perform TSB related to EVAP canister and clear out possible blockage in evap lines related to poor breather placement (behind rear wheel where it accumulates dust on dirt roads). Shop also recommended replacing the fuel sending unit, so did that as well. After replacement, gauge no longer got stuck on empty, but would not show entirely full and would fall faster than usual. At the point the empty light was triggered, there were still 5-6 gallons of gas in the tank. Shop replaced with another fuel sending unit and same issue occurred. Problem has not resolved since. |
