In 2016 April the front brakes were completely replaced (normal wear). The braking was fine for a while than slowly I noticed that the brakes started to get weaker. In 2017, December 6th, I had my yearly appointment for a tuneup. During the process the technician advised me that my front brakes needed to be changed. I stated that I will not cover the cost since the original brakes lasted more than 50,000km and the ones from 2016 only lasted 8000km. After revising the type of rotors and pads, the deale admitted to have installed lower quality products in2016 and that the cost of the new OEM rotors and pads will be covered by them. Now I have awesome braking power, thank you Toyota to stand by me! |
