The trim piece that runs the length of the car and sits between the roof/hood/trunk and the doors has begun to deteriorate. The rubber has peeled of in long strands that flap agianst my car on the highway and is very annoying. These parts are no longer manufactured, incredibly expensive to replace/ship, and will likely never be replaced on my car. They do not seal any interior compartment against water, but they do apparently help with aerodynamics and noise control for the cabin.
31000 mi Stitching on left hand side of base of drivers seat coming undone. Seat cover was removed and re-stitched under factory warranty. The dealer took the car to a 3rd party repair shop for this work. Repair is not detectable (stitching is now as new).
51000 mi Sun visors split on both driver and passenger sides preventing them from stowing properly. Known issue for which Honda has extended the warranty. Used this to have them replaced in an afternoon at the dealer at no cost.
94000 mi Clearcoat was gone on the roof. Trunk, hood and front fenders were starting to go. All were repainted under a paint warrenty extension / TSB provided by honda. Cost to me was zero, although I did need to pay for a rental car.
