116000 mi

US $670
Service Engine Soon came on. Turned out lower hose coupling was broken and leaking on O2 sensor causing sensor to fail. replaced sensor and coupling.
116000 mi

US $600
So the car stalled on the highway. Worn engine mount was replaced because we heard a vibration noise within the cabin. All told $600 but no understanding of why the car stalled and we can still hear the noise in the cabin, which I have since learned may be to do with a fuel damper. Gonna live with it. $350.
56184 mi

US $114
Car was choking/bucking above 2000 RPM. Check engine light on. Car was not really driveable, but a well-rated shop was a few blocks away, so I limped it over there. Code P0524, engine oil pressure too low. No freeze frame data. Oil pressure was verified ok, oil level was ok (1/2 way between low and full). Bucking was due to limp-home mode. Topped off oil, cleared codes, test drove. Problem didn’t return.
59000 mi Car was choking/bucking above 2000 RPM. Check engine light on. Code P0524, engine oil pressure too low. Bucking was due to limp-home mode. This had happened once before. Cleared codes, test drove. Problem didn’t return for over a month.
60000 mi

US $5100
Car was choking/bucking above 3000 RPM. Pending code P0524, engine oil pressure too low. Bucking was due to limp-home mode. This happened twice before, and clearing the code fixed the problem. Dealer verified faulty oil seal on rear valve timing cover, causing internal oil leakage and low oil pressure to the valve timing controllers. Seals not sold separately, so you have to replace the whole rear timing cover. Either way, a very labor-intensive job. Car was out of warranty but had very low miles, so I asked the service advisor if Nissan would pay for part of it. He checked, and they agreed to pay 20%. While dealer was replacing faulty oil seals on rear timing cover, they found evidence of coolant leakage from the coolant pump. Replaced coolant pump.
88040 mi

C $150
Check engine light coming on every few days and car entering limp mode, code P0524. Diagnostic advised wrong type of oil may have been used. Oil flushed and replaced, light has come on a few times since less often since, may another visit.
46800 mi On one occasion, car began sputtering in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear after a period of idling. No check engine light was displayed. Codes stored - showed faulty rear O2 sensor & cracked catalytic converter. All replaced under warranty.Issue fixed.
152000 mi

US $125
Vehicle was starting to not start after ignition button pushed - everything including lights - would simply shut down. Car was jumped one time and was able to be started. Additional event occurred and car simply started an hour later. Dealership unable to detect problem; battery fairly new so that was ruled out as a problem. Issue has not recurred in last 7 weeks; no repair actually completed.
48000 mi Misfire CEL was coming on at cold start. Cleaning throttle bodies solved issue.
63000 mi One catalytic converter failed and produced a CEL. Dealer repaired under emissions warranty.
88000 mi

US $300
Oil galley gaskets failed, leading to dangerously low engine oil pressure and the car going into limp mode. Repaired it myself, so a low parts cost but a monumental amount of labor involved.

12000 mi 7at down shifting issue, finally a tsb was released that solved problem
