2009 Mazda MazdaSpeed3 4dr Hatch

turbocharged 263hp 2.3L I4 6-speed manual FWD

18000 mi TSB regarding windshield wiper motor replacement - done same day as damper replacement.
25000 mi Air Conditioner Vent has been making noise as if something was stuck in it. Mechanics found a piece of paper stuck in the vent that was creating noise by fluttering in air movement created by the Air Conditioner.
120000 mi

US $90
A plastic clasp on the A/C drain broke which caused the drain to leak into the passenger's foot area.
129000 mi

US $215
Something shorted in the Air Conditioning system. Had to get it replaced.
63000 mi Tire Pressure Sensor Failed in Driver Side Front Tire. Dealer diagnosed, replaced, and damaged my 18 inch stock alloy wheels during tire dismount and remount.
75000 mi The turn signal function is INSIDE the ECU for this car. I believe that the problem is due to a bad ground somewhere as the only time I lose occasional ignition is when the turn signal is flashing and other loads happening (or so it seems). I added more grounding wire to hopefully eradicate the issue as I believe it's due to an intermittent bad ground state. Also reconnected the ECU to see if dirt / capacitance build up may be an issue. The turn signal flasher (controlled by ECU main computer) is what causes the ignition grounding most times. I am still guessing, but hopeful it's "just a bad ground" and not the ECU itself. Intermittent and the ignition comes back on quickly in just ONE time at the beginning of the first flash... After that it doesn't do the ignition shut-off more than once and the car recovers quickly, even at-speed. Very little momentum loss just a "flicker" like a reset.
34000 mi

US $95
30,000 mile service by dealer, minus all the stuff I take care of locally. LR windows switch broken. Cabin air filter replaced, brake pads measured.

103000 mi

US $11

540 mi Defective Rain Sensor causing RF interference with Tire Pressure Monitoring System Intermittent fault on Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Traced to Radio Frequency Interference from Rain Sensor. Rain Sensor module replaced under warranty. Appears to have resolved issue. Vehicle in shop 2 days.
28000 mi Tire Pressure Monitor (TPMS) light comes on intermittently in cold weather. Pressures are fine on all tires inc spare. Told my radar detector was interfering. Removed and disconnected, still a problem; contacting dealer to reattempt fix.
29000 mi Previous unsuccessful repair to TPMS system reattempted. Dealer ordered a new 'TPMS module' (apparently combined with the rain sensor by the rear view mirror) and fitted. Seems to have worked.
56000 mi

US $555
Starter motor failed. Possibly due to carwash. Car started upon exiting carwash, 30 minutes kater at home, did not. Had to be flatbedded to garage.
