McPherson Struct broke ... needed to replace both. Even though the highest level of extended warranty had been purchased, the owner was required to pay (part not covered).

Power steering pump noisy, louder when turning. Happened during 500 mile trip. Dealer mechanic found debris in power steering fluid reservoir, recommended $1500 new PS pump. We settled for new reservoir, flush, refill for $500. It worked.
