Clutch started slipping right after I bought the car. I negotiated with the dealer that I bought the car from and had them cover as much of the cost as I could negotiate. Replacing the clutch turned out to be a $4800 (!) job, I ended up paying $1500 and the dealer covered the rest.

New engine replacement under warranty. Rapid ticking noise upon acceleration. Persistent oil consumption. Dealership noticed computer threw cold indicative of catalytic converter failure. New catalytic converter installed.
The car has been consuming oil (.9 quarts per 1,000 miles. It is under extended warranty, but the dealer says that up to a quart per 1,000 is considered acceptable. 4th visit for this progressively getting worse.

Low oil light. Oil consumption test revealed car using a quart every thousand miles. Replaced all the rings, one piston rod (tech stripped screw), timing belt because service called for its replacement in 20k or so miles anyway, all gaskets.

Three days after buying the TL I sent it to the shop for the emission system, SH-AWD system, and overall computer check. They reset the computer system.
