Drivers side windshield washer nozzle core dislodged. Got new nozzle from Acura. R&R myself in less than 5 minutes. Did an experiment between Honda & Acura. Got a nozzle for the same year Accord for $22 thinking they are probably the same. They were not. General design of nozzle was the same but the clip and attaching method were slightly different. Smart engineers! Make the part just different enough that you have to buy the $37 one even though it costs exactly the same amount to make. Now to be fair, the Acura part looked like it probably clipped and unclipped easier than the Honda part. Therefore the Acura engineers are smarter and we the consumer should expect to pay a premium for that I guess. |
