Check Engine Light. Car could not move. Transmission needed to be replaced. |
43000 mi | Torque converter seal was leaking. They removed and replaced the seal, after removing the whole transmission. They also did an alignment. I wonder if it's connected to having had a rebuilt transmission when the new car was 3 months old. |
43000 mi | Transmission fluid still leaking after the repair in October. Evidently, they didn't complete the job. They removed the side axle from transmission and replaced the seal. Still not sure if the transmission is working 100% |
7500 mi | Replace Torque Converter Hub Seal because it was leaking transmission fluid. Replace Torque Converter Hub Seal because it was leaking |
98000 mi US $1650 |
Transmission failed wile on vacation. We didn't know that the hard shifting was because the transmission was failing back around 65,000. Hard shifting would happen occasionally. A dealer in California "City Chevy" told us it would take 2 weeks and cost $5500 We then trailered it back to AZ on our own And had it repaired at Van Chevy" in Scottsdale. |
182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
94700 mi | Complete Transmission Failure |
32000 mi | I suspect transmission was going out as car jerked when shifting gears--had 36,366 Miles. Warranty ran out at 36,000. |
57000 mi | Transfer case replaced. |
58000 mi | Vehicle would not back up on a grade then the engine would rev and a loud clunking sound was heard. It slowly progressed even in forward gears. I took it to a Honda dealer and traded it for an Accord after I left the Chevy dealer. |
