Xenon headlight went out, HID bulbs are expensive if you go through dealer. My indy wanted to charge me $210 with labor and tax. I bought bulb on Amazon for $80 with Shipping and tax. Will take 5 min, youtube videos show you how to fix.

The original Alternator met its demise as I coasted into the driveway. Replaced it with a OEM Denso Alt and the car ran but a charging system fault persisted. Tried another Denso alt to the same result. Then tried a Genuine Land Rover Alt, which is made by Denso (only visible difference is a Land Rover sticker and that it costs another $600...) and it works as expected. NOTE: Alternator failure was likely due to all the MUD and DEBRIS that had made its way into the inner bits. Try to wash that crud out after a trip.
