Boot was leaking when I bought car. Did not notice until 2nd week. Dealer would not repair(not Honda dealership) New CV joint assembly installed Update to repair. I got a call from the GM for the dealership where I bought the car.He was upset that his people had not offered to repair the vehicle. He insisted I send him the bill and he would reimburse me and he did. So, all good for now.

Shudder in transmission
65000 mi There's a speed-dependent sound that I believe is the front or rear axle bearing. Brought it to a shop, but they couldn't figure out the problem. Said it was the tires (which are at 25000 miles). THey said they need to change the tires first before doing the bearings. This is silly because a week before I had the tires rotated and the sound did not follow the tires.
54500 mi

US $60
Vibration that occurs after the engine is fully warmed up. Mechanic confirmed the issue, reviewed Honda TSB database and referred me to the Honda dealership.
59000 mi

US $110
The drivetrain vibrates when in eco mode when the engine deactivates cylinders. Tech performed tsb, which Improved but did not fix the issue. Dealer states that all Pilots have that vibration, especially in cold weather.
16000 mi VCM vibration increasing. Very noticeable from 35MPH - 45MPH. Significant vibration thru driver seat and arm rest; no vibration thru steering wheel. American Honda says its normal. Very unhappy with Honda. Lousy engineering.
16000 mi Unusual vibration from 35-55MPH.
11300 mi

US $180
Transmission shuddering at highway speeds and lurching at slower speeds. Transmission fluid leak into transmission coolant suspected. Dealer unable to fix problem during this repair visit.
13000 mi I traded in the Pilot for a new car so that I didn't have to deal with the headache and hassle with the tranmission repairs.
63500 mi left front axle was replaced
66000 mi right front axle was replaced
