Car was idling roughly and had occasional problems cranking up. Like it would take longer to crank before the engine fires up. It almost sounds like the enginr was choking before starting up. Car would idle roughly but only after the engine has warmed up. Dealership did not diagnose the car, but suggested throttle body and intake valve cleaning, valve cover and spark plug replacement. The idea was these services would fix the problem. After having all of those done, the issue with idling roughly has gradually gone away. It doesn't seem to an issue anymore, today is like 1 month since the car was worked on. The car still has the occasional issue of trouble starting up. Same symptoms, it takes longer to crank before the engine fires up. Only seems to happen when the engine is warm, has not ever happened yet on a cold start. I am working around this issue by stabbinh the gas pedal as soon as i notice the car taking longer to fire up. |

42000 mi | Car leaked over a quart of oil. Mechanic discovered the oil filter they'd installed 2 weeks earlier had split seam and was leaking. Replaced oil filter and topped off oil level. BTW they used 5W30 oil (both 2 wks earlier & now). |
46000 mi | Once the pump fit about 2 gal more than I expected into the car. Then the gauge read full for 2-3 times as many miles as normal. Next time, the pump automatically shut off for a full tank after only a couple gallons. Next time back to normal. |
