I cleaned the latch as much as possible with WD-40, white litium grease and a high pressure cleaner then confirmed the latch could still work with a key and screwdriver. The emergency release, inside lever and keyfob button all work but it took one night and trying to lock and unlock the car several times before it resolved itself. |
