Battery was replaced due to wires becoming loose from the leads, creating an arc and ruining the battery. This isn't a real problem, but the fact that there is a large charge to replace the battery due to resetting the computer is mind boggling. $180 battery, but there is a $150 fee to install and reset the computer. Granted I could have bought a battery at the local Autozone to be installed, but the arcing locked up the computer system, which only the dealer can correct at..........$150. So no matter how I needed to change the battery, it was still going to cost me over $300 to replace. |
