LR parking brake seized on intermittently. Investigation showed that the aluminum guide tube for the actuation cable had corroded at the point it entered the body underneath the rear seat. This was due to improper installation of the rubber grommet in the body. Area of LR floor was wet from water intrusion. Replaced guide tube and both cables. Unfortunately PB not covered by extended warranty. Repair required removal of entire center console. Poor design makes an easy repair into a very long process.
