| 20000 mi | Retaining clip for drivers sun visor had broken, so that was replaced under warranty. Paint is chipping very badly and at very low mileage. There are noticeable chips, specks, scratches, and more all over the car. The red paint scratches if you look at it wrong. That ain't normal. Dealer inspected the problem and said they would open a case with Mazda corporate. I haven't heard anything since, so I should probably follow up on that. |

| 19220 mi | Mazda would not honour my paint warranty because I was 20 days (20-24?) late reporting it. The problem had been ongoing for months but I was not wanting to go in for C-19 worries. A dealer rep even admitted that this was a reported Mazda problem (to thin a coat applied to a number of CX-5 vehicles). |
