2020 Subaru Forester 4dr SUV

182-horsepower 2.5L H4 7-speed shiftable CVT AWD

30000 mi On a trip the "Thermo Control Valve" failed which in turn signaled the "check engine light" to be turned on (but not flashing) but it also turned off the Eyesight/Cruise Control/Collision Avoidance/Automatic Braking system off as well. The valve is locked on the wide open position and the car is drivable, but all the safety features and cruise control are inoperable. The needed parts are on back order and this seems to be a major mechanical issue around the nation. I am driving the car as is and will have to wait for my parts to arrive. The Asian logistics problem is making this problem worse. I'm told it will be 30 to 45 days before the parts arrive and my car can be repaired. To say I'm an unhappy customer would be an understatement.
