2019 Acura RDX 4-door
turbocharged 4-cylinder automatic AWD
47000 mi
AWD rear wheel sensor needed to be replaced- vehicle kept defaulting into 2 wheel drive.
A TSB was performed on my car by my dealer that was incomplete. Dealer did the software update, but did not do the three consecutive transmission fluid flushes required. During the subsequent road trip I began experiencing transmission slippage, sloppy or inconsistent gear changes, and sometimes rough, grabby upshifts at lower speeds. Acura dealer in Albuquerque correctly diagnosed the issue and performed the needed fluid flush/change at the direction of Acura tech support. Once this was performed, the problem was corrected and the transmission performed flawlessly.
57000 mi
US $100
Transmission not shifting smoothly, seems to have "slippage". Performed drain and refill of transmission which helped but problem was not eliminated. Car did go to the dealer when under warranty (2021) for a TSB on this issue (drain & refill + transmission program flash) which also helped but issue has always persisted.
There are jitters at low speed when the engine is cold.
The dealer replaced the transmission fluid and probably updated the software as well.
9000 mi
There are jitters at low speed when the engine is cold. The dealership told me the first repair was software update only, they did not replace the transmission fluid. This time the dealership flushed and replaced the transmission fluid. No issue so far.
At 300 Km dashboard lit up with error messages - transmission problem, emmission problem, sensor problem. Automatic transmission shifts felt like being hit with sledge hammer. Replaced a sensor.
CV axle boot was leaking lubricant onto the wheels. Replaced CV Axle. This is on the side of the car that was involved in a collision prior to us purchasing the car [2.5 years ago].
Excess vibration in the car when stopped at a light. When shifted into neutral while the engine is running the vibration is reduced significantly but is still in excess for a normal idle. Acura dealer denies that there is a problem.

Felt vibration in the car at low speeds. Vehicle subject to a service bulletin--drive shaft was warped. Replaced under warranty.

After car sat outside in extreme cold (-15 degrees F.) overnight and was driven on highway the next day, there was significant vibration from the drive train. This appears to be a routine issue with the 2013 RDX. Shop could not replicate the issue. No repair done.

Significant vibration when driving at any speed, reversing, and parking. Dealer informed this is a known flaw. Acura corporate said they are working on it but it may be months before they fix it. Car rattles like a piece of junk.
7300 mi
Vibration from drive train at aprox. 14-1500rpm as I back off accelerator. Seems like transmission is lagging or bogging down. Dealership replaced differential oil with no effect. They are checking with Acura. Standby.
9000 mi
My complaints about vibration (shutter) from drive train at aprox. 14-1500rpm was again substantiated by the tech doing a road test. Acura Techline was contacted and instructed dealer to perform a 'Neutralization' of all mounts.
24000 mi
Vibration in transmission when coasting predominately between 1300-1500 rpm. This was not the first time I had this vehicle in for the same issue. A software update was performed and the problem has improved but is not completely solved.

Replaced propeller shaft.
