BMW has an implied image to most people. Saying you own a 5 series made those in the know nod their head. The frame was welded aluminum and even after 8+ years showed almost no rust. Buyers of the car were amazed and bought it after a short drive. see full BMW 5-Series review

BMW drivers are universally despised. Just Google "BMW drivers" to see what I mean. They are thought to have almost malicious disregard for anyone but themselves, as well as for any traffic laws. see full BMW 5-Series review

Depending on who you ask... the ram is a nightmare for dependability. Its my second one. The first one went 300 k all original before we sold it. Its current owner is at 377k still all original untouched. Ours is good so far but its still a baby! see full Dodge Ram 1500 review

Dodge does not have the best reputation for reliablity but it has really improved to the level that I think anyone still holding that grudge is living in the past. Have spent less than $500 on repairs in 10.5 years. Most of that was wheel bearings which on vehicles this size used hard like mine is practically a maintenace item. see full Dodge Ram 1500 review
