Compared to the XF, rather plain.

Color choices

Mostly shades of silver and gray. The 3 series has a better selection, in my opinion.

Controls and instruments

Most people speak negatively about the I-drive, but the rest of the controls were also confusing and seemed to be overly complicated. I, for one, was willing to learn and adapt, but it would have driven my wife nuts.
