2008 Cadillac CTS Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by sagherian

Exterior styling
I love how aggressive it looks. It definitely stands out and is noticeable.
Interior styling
It is just beautifully and uniquely designed. I like the shape of the dash and the accent lighting.
Materials & workmanship
It is very nice, with leather trimmed dash, and soft materials. The chairs have a solid feeling to them. It is a first class appointed interior.
Quietness
The CTS drives like a sports car, yet retains that typical Cadillac quite ride.
Powertrain performance
The engine is powerful enough and has that grunt that it needs when you redline it. It can also be a smooth cruiser when you want it to be.
Driving position & visibility
The rear corner beams are very thick and it is very hard to see around you when backing up. This car should have standard backup sensors.
Dealer practices
The dealership I went to was really unprofessional. They were to bring a RWD CTS from another dealer, with my specific options, yet failed to. I ended up getting an AWD CTS that was missing a few features that I wanted, but was of the color I wanted.
Feature availability
There too many options. They should just make 3-4 packages and nothing else. It took a while to find a CTS I had wanted. Cause one was missing X feature, and the other had Y feature. It was a mess.

Rear seat room & comfort
The rear seats are a little snug, but bareable. However, if someone is pretty tall they might bump their head on the ceiling.
