2014 Kia Cadenza Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The 3,668-pound Kia Cadenza shares a 293-horsepower, 3.3-liter V6 engine and six-speed manually shiftable automatic transmission with the Hyundai Azera. The 3,800-pound Impala has a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter, while the 3,461-pound Avalon has a 268-horsepower 3.5-liter. Put the pedal to the floor, and all are about equally quick--and quicker than such... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Chevrolet Impala |

2011 Chevrolet Impala Pros and Cons Member5109 Took it out and put the pedal to the metal and boy was I impressed, in about 1/4 of a mile I was running up past 120 mph and climbing and decided that was good enough. No vibration or hesitation or drifting. I had no idea it would light up... |

2008 Chevrolet Impala Pros and Cons Member741 The 3900 V6 is very responsive and climbs hills effertlessly. The engine idles very smooth and is easy to live with on a daily basis. The old 4 speed automatic always shifts on time and is smooth. |

2007 Chevrolet Impala / Monte Carlo Pros and Cons Member2935 Nice smooth power-band with lots of low range torque, VVT really helps. |
|
2003 Chevrolet Impala / Monte Carlo Pros and Cons A member in Ontario, Canada The 3.8 is a great compromise between performance, fuel economy and durability. I chose the 3.8 for the additional durability of the iron block over the 3.4 aluminum block. The transmission was a durable, proven design which should last forever. |

2008 Chevrolet Impala Pros and Cons A member in North Dakota, United States The transmission does not engage immediately after cornering or during hard acceleration. When it does you can hear and feel a loud clunking noise coming from the powertrain. Often times this also causes the tires to "chirp". |
