| 2012 | On paper, the Malibu's rear seat is only a little tighter than those in the 2008-2012 sedan and in competing cars. In person, rear knee room would only be marginally competitive in the compact sedan segment. Sitting behind my 5-9 self, my shins graze the front seatbacks. GM is rushing some revised seats to market. But if past attempts to fix a cramped rear seat are any indication, this won't make a substantial difference. | 2012 | The Cruze's rear seat is among the tightest in a compact sedan, and the diesel engine doesn't affect this. Though rear seat headroom is abundant, adults will feel a bit cramped even behind a driver of average height. The Jetta's rear seat has a little less headroom but far more legroom. Unfortunately there is no leg room in the rear of the car when the front seats are a particular distant from the dashboard. So either all the people when riding in this car need to be small people like no more then 5 foot?! or you can only have two 6 foot people in it at a time. needs serious improvements there! see full Chevrolet Cruze review |
