What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

2006 Chrysler Pacifica Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
my kids prefer driving in the car because of the bucket seats and comfort see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The rear seats in this car (the two-row version) really are designed for adults; legroom is incomparable. Be aware that in the three-row version, the second row seats are moved forward to accomodate the third row, so there is less second row legroom. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
supports lower back problem see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Second row has tons of room. 3rd row not so much, but was comfortable enough for a 2500 mile round from with 6 of us. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6

I like how the rear seats slide fwd and backward. I like the center console extending back between the rear seats.` see full Chrysler Pacifica review

Again, so comfortable. Plus my 6'5" son can push the seat all the way back and drive in complete comfort. Great car for tall people. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6

2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6

3rd row seat... great option, but difficult to get to and not really big enough for adults. Seats two kids without a problem though. see full Chrysler Pacifica review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Powertrain of the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

2006 Chrysler Pacifica Powertrain: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
very quick and responsive performance - I love to drive it. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The 4.0L V6 provides plenty of power to move this heavy car, and the 6-speed automatic is probably the most responsive automatic transmission in any car I have ever driven. Somehow, it seems to always be in just the right gear. On top of that, the gearshifts are silky smooth, even under hard acceleration. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
The 4.0L V6 engine and accompanying transmission are are great power plant for the vehicle. Decent acceleration when you need it, but still good fuel economy when cruising. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2007 4dr SUV 200-horsepower 3.8L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
It has good power and acceleration responsiveness. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2007 4dr SUV 253-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The 4.0 L is a powerful engine mated to a great 6 speed automatic that works very smooth, and the pick up is better than most V-8 engines. At 74,400 miles mpg is still excellant, power is still consistantly great. see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 Chrysler Pacifica Powertrain: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr SUV 200-horsepower 3.8L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Needs more power and a better Transmission see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Transmission clunks into gear when going uphill at a slow speed. Makes to much noise when cruising. And I am now having differential noise and problems which the dealr recommends I do not change due to the fact the new ones will be noisier(?). see full Chrysler Pacifica review
2006 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Again, Five gears would suffice, but Six would be more appropriate for a modern, upscale Chrysler. The Transfer Case ate itself after 1.5 years use. There was very little oil in it- and it never leaked. (serviced low at the factory- My guess) see full Chrysler Pacifica review
