134000 mi | Past few weeks car has sometimes displayed shut down console to conserve battery msg, then it will intermittently need battery jump to start (battery is <3 years old). CEL will appear intermittently. Past 2 days yellow wrench has appeared intermittently. Pulled codes: U3012, P0137, P013A. The P codes refer to O2S, probably a separate issue. TSB 17-0015 for code U3012 with intermittent stalling and CEL is covered under emissions warranty if car were <100k. Repair requires inspection of wiring harness under the HV battery and repair of chafed wire. TSB advises 1.8h of labor and minimal parts. Will take car to dealer to complete repair only if charges are reasonable for 1.8 hour repair. This is advanced for DIY and requires HV gloves for safety, but I am trained to work on HV system and can perform this repair if the dealer will not. |
