Why the 2014 Ford Escape?

Exterior styling

Although styling is subjective, I realy like the lines on this car. Striikes a good balance between sporty and practical. Much like a bigger Focus.

Handling

I find the handling to be among the best in the compact CUV segment. Like a slightly taller Focus (and that's a good thing).

Quietness

Very quiet, but buttoned-down ride quality. Much more refined than others in the category, including the Forester.

Controls and instruments

Although you may see it differently, I love the operation of the My Ford Touch. Very easy to learn, and allows you to do touch or voice commands.

Why Not the 2014 Ford Escape?

Fuel economy

Slightly less fuel mileage than I would have expected from the 1.6 turbo. Currently averaging about 24 in mixed driving. And I am not a lead foot with this car.
