ALL the reviewers rave about the twin turbo V6 as will I ! My daily driver is a turbo diesel with 400hp and 800 lbft of torque but weighs twice as much as the sport which has comparable hp --- even on regular gas ! see full Ford Explorer review |

Engine & trans work very well. Acceleration is deceptive in normal driving and if you want to go fast it will certainly do that too. Engine is very quiet unless you punch it, then it has an enjoyable snarl. see full Ford Explorer review |

Hankook. Round and usually hold air. That's about the best thing I can say about them. Once they're worn out I'll replace them with Goodyear or Michelin. see full Ford Explorer review |
