From first day of delivery, radio not working until 3rd or 4th restart of the day. Trip 1, dealer said they could order new radio but not sure if that would fix it. Decided to wait for another customer to trouble-shoot their same issue first. Forum discus
had them try to fix NAV/HUD display problem and they could not--factory trying to determine fix
Crackling audio speaker.
Exchanger had to be replaced in A/C unit. Required removing entire dash. Repair not covered under warranty.
Outside temperature sensor approximately 7 degrees higher than actual outside temperature.
Liftgate would not open under power; replaced liftgate latch.
DRL portion of bulb failed; bought and changed bulb and found wiring to the socket melted.
Dealer replaced wiring, connector and bulb.
Passenger low beam bulb not working; found bulb blown; replaced bulb and light works

First attempt with stop-leak from autozone did not work. My mechanic added his stop-leak and it fixed the evaporator leak.
Hole in freon tube estim. $2200.00 to repair.
Nav unit occasionally reported "disk read error". Problem had been reported but apparently not fixed in in-warranty visit, so unit was replaced under original warranty even though warranty expired.
Temperature sensor for outside temperature was not working correctly.
Factory DVD Player would not play DVDs.
Passenger power folding mirror would not fold in.
Interior door light burned out

Air conditioner stopped working. Apparently it was a faulty seal that leaked all of the freon out of the vehicle, thus not allowing the condenser to function. Dealer had to order the seal, have it overnighted, and installed the next day. Hasn't been a The front driver and passenger seats jerk as if they're going off track when moved back and forth. Also, driver seat rocks forward if the vehicle comes to a hard slow down or stop.
Outside temp & fuel sensors replaced/moved.
Dual zone AC/heat not working properly on right side. Blows HOT no matter how the settings are adjusted.
No temperature control on right side of A/C system. Blew hot all the time. They made it blow cold all the time and scheduled another visit for June.

Battery discharges when car is towed behind a motorhome, even though the procedure outlined in the "Recreational Towing" instructions in the owner manual says it will not. Dealer consulted with factory tech support and learned that this is a known problem
GMC issued a TSB changing the procedure for dinghy (recreational vehicle)towing and declared the problem resolved. I obtained a copy of the TSB online, so did not have to visit a dealer to learn of the revised procedure.
Voltmeter, temperature and fuel gauge lights went out - gauge could not be read in the dark New instrument display panel installed but it too was defective, though with a different problem. Yet another instrument panel will be ordered.
Instrument cluster was replaced and re-programmed.
Body Control Module (a computer module) and main power distribution center (fuse and relay panel) inexplicably burned out and required replacement. Car was running and would not shut off, even with key removed!
Acadia went back 2 more times for the same problem: battery. According to the dealership, the Acadia is fine and can be driven. I personally don't feel comfortable driving the vehicle for fear that it will not start when I need it to and leave me standed.

Went to start the Acadia in the morning and it was completely dead, stuck in park, with key stuck in ignition. Had it towed to the dealership on a dolly. Dealer replaced the battery, said the battery had a bad cell.
Power rear tailgate opens itself. Dealer ordered part to solve problem, switch off in interim
Gauge cluster - trip computer display fades out completely after cluster warms up. Removed and sent to Acadian Speedometer for repair. Had cluster for over 30 days but wasn't able to repair. Sent refund check back with cluster.
The gauge cluster had to be replaced as it was slowly getting worse, and unfortunately it could only be done by the dealer as the online sources listed the part, but it could not be ordered. The replacement and programming was done in June of 2015.
Nav system stopped working. Dealer replaced under extended warranty with $100 deductible.
Rear power hatch sensor became defective, ran continuously.
Climate control module went out, had to be replaced.
New alternator was needed
passenger side headlight burned out. had to remove the front tire and a mud guard to get to the headlight.
Traction control and stabilitrak became inoperative because of a faulty sensor.
Refill valve on Air conditioner broke and had to be replaced. Repair shop ordered part, replaced and refilled air conditioner.

intermittant issue with outside temp sensor. Told that it is working properly.
AC system coolant was empty. Dealership was unable to find a leak, but admitted that a leak must exist for the coolant to be gone. Filled up with new coolant and told to bring back if problem peristed
