2017 | 0 | Not great. They choose a 6 speed automatic, not a CVT. Shifts were jerky. see full Hyundai Elantra review |
2017 Hyundai Elantra Tires: Pros | ||
Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
2017 | 0 | The other thing hyundai did which I consider unacceptable is, they don't have a spare tire, to provide more room for the battery and the cargo. You get a spray can of sealant, and a battery operated compressor. You also get 2 years of free roadside maintenance. Other similar cars have donuts, or emergency=use only spares. That's ok. If you damage a wheel in the middle of no where, the goop and the pump don't do you any good at all. Ask me how I know this, Actually, it was on a run-flat (not) tire The other thing to watch our for across all high gas mileage cars is that the manufacturers use tires that are not very "grippy" to enhance the mpg numbers. These tuires are very slippery, not good or safe in the rain, and totally useless and deadly in the snow or ice. Check the tires. see full Hyundai Elantra review |
