What the powertrain giveth, the fuel economy taketh away. Nissan's VQ engines just seem to be thirsty - if you commute in heavy traffic, especially for short trips, don't be surprised at 15.5-16 mpg tanks. I don't know what mostly-highway commuting would look like, but maybe 22-25 mpg depending on driving style. see full Infiniti G review
