| 2014 | Like the G37, the Q50 has one of the roomiest rear seats among BMW 3-Series challengers. On paper it offers the most combined rear legroom, 44.5 inches in the front seat and 35.1 inches in back, about 2.5 more than the BMW and Lexus. But the difference doesn't seem as large as this number suggests. The Audi S4 and Cadillac ATS remain more cramped. The Q50 doesn't come by its extra room through brilliant packaging. | Audi suggests that, despite the platform downgrade, the new allroad is pretty close in size to the old one because its cars have been growing with each redesign. Yet while the original allroad felt like a midsize car inside, the new one feels like a compact, especially in the back seat, where both shoulder room and legroom are down by a couple of inches. The average adult will fit, but without much room to spare. This said, the "midsize" Volvo XC70 provides a couple inches more shoulder room but no more leg room. see full Audi allroad review | ||
