Jaguar XF Real Gas Mileage: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2014 4dr Sedan supercharged 340hp 3.0L V6
8-speed shiftable automatic RWD
The weak spot. The car is really thirsty if many horses are demanded. 18l/100km is possible when continuously driving speeds above 200km/h see full Jaguar XF review
2010 4dr Sedan turbocharged 240hp 3.0L V6 Diesel
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
averaging 37mpg (UK)over 7000 miles of mixed roads... I consider that better than average for this size engine. see full Jaguar XF review

2014 4dr Sedan supercharged 340hp 3.0L V6

Thirsty. In comparison to the diesels at least. see full Jaguar XF review
2012 4dr Sedan supercharged 510hp 5.0L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Or lack there of. So yes if on the highway and not playing to much you can set the cruise and get 21mpg...amazing for 510hp engine. However as soon as you start having fun stop light to stop light, on the back roads your mpg will drop to around 12mpg. However it was so much fun that you don't car:-) see full Jaguar XF review

Jaguar X-Type Real Gas Mileage: Cons

2005 4dr Sedan 227-horsepower 3.0L V6

I think the car is capable of doing a bit better on Fuel Economy. It is a 3.0 Litre V6 that gets 23MPG on a highway trip. I know the AWD system hinders that but I have heard of other AWD cars doing better and performing better. see full Jaguar X-Type review
