Why Not the 2003 Lincoln LS?

Powertrain performance

Great engine (AJ35 V8), but would benefit greatly from the ZF 6-speed automatic. Power level is excellent, but a better transmission would let the engine shine.

Exterior styling

Overall, the styling is crisp and non-offensive, but tends to blend into the wallpaper a little bit. My LS Premium Sport is black with factory chrome 17" wheels, and looks a bit sinister and agressive, but other models and colors look a bit sedate.

Quietness

Mine is a Sport, so the ride harshness is a bit greater than a standard model. But it pays off in handling.

Materials & workmanship

I find that overall, the workmanship is on par with my Jaguar S-Type, but the interior materials are a bit too "Ford-like". Paint is excellent.
