2009 4dr Sedan 273-horsepower 3.7L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
The car just has arounf 3,000 + miles, so far, getting 18 - 19 in town, and have done 26 mpg on the highway, no long trips yet. see full Lincoln MKS review
Lincoln MKS Real Gas Mileage: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr Sedan 273-horsepower 3.7L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Hmmm...here is the soft under belly of the car. Although my (better off) friends chuckle at my complaint, I have always driven cars that gave me better mpg. But, the size and the luxury seem to wash this issue away. see full Lincoln MKS review
2009 4dr Sedan 273-horsepower 3.7L V6

Avg. 16.9. Could have done better compared to others on the market. see full Lincoln MKS review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Real Gas Mileage of the Jaguar S-Type

Jaguar S-Type Real Gas Mileage: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2004 4dr Sedan 294-horsepower 4.2L V8
6-speed automatic RWD
In my opinion the fuel economy is nothing other than extraordinary. 35mpg on a motorway run at 75mph average, 27mpg 'round the doors'. Very easy to drive with economy in mind due to fuel computer and live data. see full Jaguar S-Type review
Jaguar S-Type Real Gas Mileage: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2000 4dr Sedan 240-horsepower 3.0L V6
5-speed automatic RWD
3.0 engine is adequate; comparing it with Jag XK8 4.0 and Merc E500 feels underpowered (which is expected), fuel economy is pretty much the same as the V8 E500 and XK8 if you step on the gas. see full Jaguar S-Type review
