TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 Lincoln MKZ
2013 |
Seat evaluations are highly subjective. For me, the MKZ's standard front seats are very good, but short of outstanding. Compared to the seats in the Fusion, they're more firmly contoured but have smaller side bolsters. The optional multi-contour seats might address the bolster deficit. But few people are going to drive this car in a manner that requires much lateral support.

2012 Lincoln MKZ Seat Room and Comfort: Cons |

Rear seat headroom and knee room are borderline tight in the Fusion. In the MKZ they're tighter still. Six-foot passengers might still fit, but not comfortably. Even without sufficient space for toes beneath its front seat, the Lexus ES's rear seat is far roomier.

I love driving in luxury, and this car delivers much of it. From the cooled/heated seats to the delicious feel of the leather seating surfaces, this car offers more than adequate comfort...and it is a luxury automobile after all. I would expect no less from Lincoln.

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2003 Mazda Protege

4dr Wagon 130-horsepower 2.0L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
I find the front seat of this car to be incredibly comfortable. Everything is easily within reach and seems to fit me perfectly. My only complaint is that there's no good place to put my purse, but that's been the case with every car I've owned.

4dr Wagon 130-horsepower 2.0L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
The backseat is a little tight, so it would not be comfortable for a large person or for a long drive. Thankfully, my husband and I are on the small side, and our daughter is pretty tiny too, so it doesn't really bother us at all.

4dr Wagon 130-horsepower 2.0L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Hey, it's a small car. Which results in a, well, small car- inside. Like most makers, Mazda puts higher priority on front seat room than rear. Logical- most small-car owners have small families, either in number or physical size. What are you gonna do?

Despite good manual adjustability, support is average and lumbar support is nonexistent.
