A User's Review: The best car they stopped making. 2019 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons michaelz08 The Legacy already has a wonderful interior with great materials that are above the segment's standards, but the Mazda6 Signature manages to improve on all the materials in and assembly quality in almost every way (except for the armrest padding, as mentioned previously). The upper door panels and dashboard... Comparison vehicle: 2021 Subaru Legacy |

2019 Lexus ES 350 F Sport Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh In the interior materials category, Mazda scores an upset. The Mazda6 Signature's seats are surfaced in nappa leather rather than a synthetic material. Its interior panels are trimmed with synthetic suede and real wood. Aside from the latter, these panels are extensively soft to the touch. You'll come into contact... Comparison vehicle: 2018 Mazda Mazda6 |
2018 Mazda6 Signature Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh It has become so common for auto makers to proclaim "improved interior materials" that I don't give such claims much weight. Sure, their car has gotten better, but so have everyone else's, and car buyers' expectations have risen at least as fast. Auto makers might not need to run to... 2014 Mazda6 Sport Review (manual transmission) Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Though the Mazda6's doors sound a touch tinny when pulled close, little if anything looks or feels downright cheap. But the Fusion leads the pack with interior materials, body structures, sound deadening, and suspension tuning that deliver a decidedly premium look and feel. The Accord falls between the two. Beyond the... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Ford Fusion |

2013 Hyundai Sonata SE Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Two years ago the Hyundai Sonata's interior materials were above the segment average. Here too, though, some competitors (if not the Altima and Mazda6) have been leaping ahead. The Limited's interior is a little nicer, especially in warmer tan. The 2013 SE's largely black interior, with unexceptional cloth on the... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Mazda Mazda6 |

The best car nobody knows about 2013 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member4411 I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent paint and precise panel fits (better than the 2010 Honda Accord I previously owned). The doors close with a dull, Teutonic thunk. Inside, fit and finish is very good with generally good materials. |

2014 Mazda6 Grand Touring Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The 2014 Mazda6's interior materials and build quality are about equal with those in the Altima, Camry, and Passat. Little if anything seems downright cheap. The problem is, the Koreans have been improving their interiors, and Ford and Chevrolet now lead the pack with interior materials, body structures, sound deadening,... Surprising and often overlooked 2009 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member4755 Too many small rattles and little problems. Granted this was the first year model run, but the quality control needs to be upgraded. Dealer and manufacturer support has been the best! |

2011 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member4839 Some of the plastics are cheap hard plastic. |
|
2003 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member3241 Too much hard plastic. Fit/finish was just OK. |
|
2006 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member4753 I was surprised by the interior finish, actually a nice place to be. Cabin is comfortable, even on long road trips. Interior plastics do not have cheap feel and fitment is on par with an Acura sedan. |

2009 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member3496 There are no cheap materials in this car; interior AND exterior. The vehicle is solid; no rattling noises. |

2006 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons A member in New Jersey, United States The interior just feels too cheap - especially for a car with MSRP of over $30000. |

2004 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons A member in Maryland, United States Interior materials not up to standards of Honda or Toyota |

2004 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons Member2118 Inferior quality of interior plastics used. Persistent (and irritating) squeaking and rattling noises from steering column and dashboard. |
|
2006 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons SPG900NY Fit and finish was better than any car I have ever owned. In about 25K miles of ownership, I did not have one thing break, fall off, or come unstuck. The car was built in Hiroshima, Japan (not in the US). |
