2006 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 274hp 2.3L I4 6-speed manual AWD |
It took a while for me to adjust the seat properly, but after I did, I have to say the seating position and comfort rivaled many European sedans I have driven. I was not used to this level of comfort from an Asian-designed automobile. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

I can fit three car seats in it. I can put my seat as far back as I need to and most adults can still sit comfortably in the back. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

For short trips the Speed6 is fine. Longer than 2 hours in the car kills my back. Maybe the seats are cheaper in the Sport vs. the GT. Fortunately I've only taken 1 or 2 very long trips in it. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

Since the Fusion and the Mazda 6 are essentially the same car, it came down to which was the preferred version. The Mazda has a very nice shifting 5 speed manual available in the V6. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

2006 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 274hp 2.3L I4 6-speed manual AWD |
Once the engine is revved to 3000 rpm or more, the power delivery is impressive, smooth and without torque steer. The AWD system, while not as sophisticated as an EVO or STI, is still capable of delivering surprising grip and performance. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

V6 with the 6 speed auto is more than adequate, although manual shifting of the auto is imprecise (not fast enough or direct enough). Transmission shifts smoothly for everyday use. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

2007 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 270hp 2.3L I4 6-speed manual AWD |
Despite the good performance I rate the engine a bit of a mixed bag. Very toruey in the mid range it runs out of puff fairly early on which does not exactly sceam sporty to me. Also very flaccid low down in the rev range which mean around town you can be out accelerated by very prosaic machinery unless you work at it. I would sooner have a straight 6 any day of the week myself. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |
2006 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 274hp 2.3L I4 6-speed manual AWD |
Very heavy, so the 274hp is strained a bit too much to really look good. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |

My car has the 18" low profile tires, which are quite attractive. However, Mazda must have manufcatured magnets into these wheels, as I have had more flat tires in the car than any other, driven on the same roads. see full Mazda Mazda6 review |
