What Our Members Are Saying about the Brand Reputation of the Mercury Milan

Mercury Milan Brand Reputation: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr Sedan 221-horsepower 3.0L V6
6-speed automatic FWD
Persistent rumors that Ford will drop the line; Sable has already been dropped. The Milan Premier, although touted by Mercury as an upscale car, is nothing more than a re-badged Fusion and not as comfortable as my 2000 Taurus. see full Mercury Milan review
2008 4dr Sedan 160-horsepower 2.3L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Ford is not known for beating the Japanese in reliability. But at the time I bought this the Milan was rated more trouble free than Camry by consumer reports. I have only added gas and oil. It runs the same at 54K as 18K. see full Mercury Milan review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Brand Reputation of the Kia Sportage

Kia Sportage Brand Reputation: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr SUV 140-horsepower 2.0L I4
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Research revealed surprising quality and positive ratings from professional and KIA owners. The new 10 yr/100,00 mi. warranty iced the cake. see full Kia Sportage review
2008 4dr SUV turbocharged 138hp 2.0L I4 Diesel
6-speed manual AWD
This is my 2nd Kia and the brand has a good reputation with me. I also like the no nonsense image and the exceptional warranty. see full Kia Sportage review

I'm just really ticked off that the fuel economy is nowhere CLOSE to what was advertised. Want to return this vehicle and get a vehicle from a different Company. For anyone else affected by the fuel economy, there is a "compensation program" that uses low estimates for every facet of calculation, so they want to pay you about 1/5 of what you really should receive for fuel compensation. Just despicable of KIA. Will never buy one again, and forewarn others. This is a really dirty practice done to boost sales over other companies. Fuel economy is completely unachievable. It is fraudulent advertising. Never KIA again. see full Kia Sportage review
