I recommend changing your oil as soon as you get the car with basic 5w30 oil. Then @ 1200 miles use the nissan ester oil. @ 5000 miles switch again to a premium synthetic. Redline, Royal purple & amsoil. Engine will run supersmooth with 23mpg avg. see full Nissan Z review
