Nissan Altima nice looking affordable car, but you get what you pay for! 2015 Nissan Altima Pros and Cons heardjasonl Don't really feel as if this car will last another three years without major problems. The CVT feels flaky like it can go out at any minute. |

2014 Nissan Altima Pros and Cons Member4278 For 20k miles so far mailnly used as a commuter car and well, everything else too I don't see any issues other than the regular oil changes and tire rotations. Time will tell how well the CVT holds up but from Nissan's standpoint they had it for a long time... |

Could be good with any transmission other than their CVT 2014 Nissan Altima Pros and Cons Member6168 CVT has been very unreliable. I had transmission issues after about 600 miles on this new car. It was difficult to recreate so it took a few months to get a dealer to address the issue. After the transmission was replaced it still had similar shakiness under light throttle. |

2008 Nissan Altima Pros and Cons A member in Ontario, Canada I put it through much strenuous driving. Sharp corners, fast acceleration, drag-strip races etc. The car runs like new at 50,000kms. Nissan had to reset driver side window switch once (for free). Besides that, no problems what-so-ever. |
