Standard four wheel disk brakes with antilock. Front, side and head curtain airbags. It has a good solid structure and even includes break away peddles. Hood is reinforced to protect pedestrians as well. Onstar notifies help if the airbags deploy.
Very clean interior styling. Takes a bit of adjustment but reading the owners manual will have you wiondering why more cars are not like this. Fabrics great, plastics nice, the glovebox is large and has two levels. Radio looks like autopilot on 747
Extremely competent handling. Corners flat with quick turn in. Might startle you if you currently drive a SUV. Steering precise with excellent feed back. Car inspires confidence and really likes to turn hard. Firm suspension without being harsh.
Excellent seats that you can adjust with infinite precision. Hard foam is very supportive but seat is perfectly shaped for comfort. Telecopeing wheel is nice. Good front and side views.
Control stalks control all funtions so your hands never have to leave the wheel to control the car. Three flash indicator is nice. Control feel is novel. Overall a very sensible and well thought out layout.
