European styling, very sporty especially in the 3 door version. Great rear body lines, bold front grille and great styling design from a profile angle.
As mentioned, the leather and plastics are really great quality as compared to others in its class...it stands up to my top of the line 2000 Audi A4. It is very European in this regard - the dash and door plastics are all matte soft touch - very nice.
For the features and quality of a fully loaded Astra XR, the only thing I was missing from a comparable GTI was the turbo boost and $10K+ price tag! GM incentives are always competitive, and 0% for 72 months is hard to beat.
