2008 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member3968 The Aura XR has an EPA rating of 18/26 (give or take). We consistently average 20+ in town and for 252hp, it averaged a respectable 28.5 - 30.3npg on a recent 18hr road trip. Did I mention we were fully loaded (4 humans and a full trunk)! |

The Saturn AURA XR is a Great Car! 2008 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member2593 My fuel economy stinks. I drive pretty much local roads in a heavily congested suburban / metropolitan area. I haven't broken the 20 mpg barrier in 5 years of owning this car. Then again, it's a V6. it's going to be somewhat more thirsty than my old Honda 4 banger.... |
2008 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member2684 Fuel economy is very good for vehicle this size. Ecotec is great on the highway. 3.6 Alloytec V6 with 6-speed is also surprisingly fuel frugal. |

2007 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member1085 Its six cylinder engine could not realistically be compared with a four. I really wanted to consider the Aura GL, and had had a request in to a dealer to let me know when they got one in. I never received a response to the call. |

2008 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons A member in California, United States FANTASTIC! And I drive it like I stole it! |
2008 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member536 The car gets better fuel economy than most 4 cylinder cars this size. |
2007 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member1438 Only a minor step down from the previous ION 2 |
2007 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons Member681 city mileage on XR lower than anticipated, not good in stop and go driving |

2007 Saturn AURA Pros and Cons A member in New York, United States The fuel economy is not class leading. I average about 20 miles per gallon in a mix of city and highway driving. |
